Jean-Michel Basquiat

Company Corkcicle
Role Direction / Senior Designer

Basquiat x Corkcicle, a global collaboration: Thrilled to collaborate with the Basquiat estate, I led the design charge for Corkcicle's multi-city launch in Paris and Tokyo, orchestrating a seamless experience for press and guests. My designs, spanning print, online, and marketing materials, brought Basquiat's artistry to life with bold creativity. Partnering with regional PR agencies, I envisioned and executed immersive environments (eye-catching graphics, floor stickers, projections), engaging touchpoints (brochures, photo spots, red carpet, neon sign), and even thematic drink menus.

The design journey continued with trade show booths in Europe and Asia, ensuring a cohesive brand experience across continents. This global project demanded meticulous planning, cross-regional collaboration, and unwavering attention to detail - a challenge I embraced with passion and precision.

Le Montana Hotel, Paris

Bringing a touch of urban grit to an elevated setting, I designed the backdrop for a rooftop party area using the existing glass barrier. With a focus on licensed artwork and graphics I personally created, including the logo design, I aimed to evoke the layered, vibrant energy of torn street posters in New York City's Soho district.

To achieve this look, I meticulously crafted a vector-based template, ensuring the printed graphics would translate with crisp detail and captivating textures. This creative approach transformed the rooftop space into an immersive environment, perfect for soaking in the views and celebrating in style.
